Office Administrator/Accounts Assistant
Job Description
JJ O’Toole Ltd, Ireland’s leading packaging solutions provider, is seeking an Office Administrator/Accounts Assistant to join our team.
This is a Junior role ideally suited for an individual with strong administration and computer skills who is looking to take the next step in their career and join a rapidly growing company.
Duties and Responsibilities:
– Processing purchase ledger trade and sundry invoices
– Keeping the purchase ledger up to date and accurate
– Liaising with Warehouse Manager and purchasing team on queries
– Liaising with suppliers on queries and credit requests
– Month-end supplier accounts reconciliations
– Cash posting
– Processing of phone and email orders from customers and external sales on a daily basis
– Dealing with customer queries by phone and email
– Ensuring that orders are processed and delivered in a timely manner
– Administrative duties to include invoicing of clients and managing the order process
– Following up with couriers on deliveries
– General administration and other ad-hoc duties as required
The successful individual will have the following characteristics:
– Excellent numerical ability is essential
– Experience dealing with customers and suppliers over the phone and in person
– Strong IT skills including experience with Microsoft Excel
– Confident communication skills
– Well organised, self-motivated person with the ability to work on own initiative
– Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
– Excellent time management skills
– Positive attitude
– Flexible
Minimum Requirements
– Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar Office/Customer/supplier focused Role
– Exceptional computer skills
– Excellent knowledge of SAP or other ERP system
Job Type: Part-time (3 days per week) with a possibility of full time.
