Inventory/Logistics/Scheduling Analyst

Ireland’s leading Packaging Company is seeking an Inventory & Logistics Analyst to join their expanding team.  The role incorporates a range of Inventory Management and Scheduling activities.

The duties to include:

  • Day to day stock management
  • Generating and Monitoring of accurate Customer Stock reports
  • Review daily inventory reports from the system and 3rd party logistics partners Conduct daily analyses to forecast potential inventory issues
  • Liaise with Sales, Procurement and Suppliers in order to ensure a steady flow of stock that result in stock levels adhering to DSI targets
  • Liaise with warehouse on incoming product to monitor and advise re space capacity
  • Report on inventory activities and variances
  • Monitoring Customer Forecasts v actual sales in order to mitigate against excess inventory and avoid customer stock out scenarios
  • Ensuring optimum stock levels at all times
  • Develop and implement inventory control procedures and best practices
  • Proactively communicate to Management and Customers on any stock issues
  • Liaise with warehouse on daily cycle counts
  • Manage slow & obsolete stocks

Minimum Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar Supply Chain Role
  • Diploma/Degree level education
  • Exceptional computer skills
  • Excellent knowledge of SAP or other ERP system
  • Advanced excel skills
  • Ability to work on own initiative
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
